The FIFA World Cup 2018 group stage will include 32 national teams determined through qualifying competitions. There will be eight groups (Group A to Group H) with four teams each. All the teams will play three matches each in the group stage of the tournament. The final match will be played on 15 July in Moscow at the Luzhniki Stadium. A team will get three points for a win while a draw will gain one point. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the Round of 16s. The winners of this round will further progress to the quarter-finals and then the semi-finals. The winner of the semi-finals will reach the final to win the FIFA World Cup 2018 Russia.
